Q1) How long does the Report take to create?
A) Estate Agents never have much time to spare before a valuation so we have really focussed on making the Report preparation very quick and simple. In fact it only takes around 3 minutes to create from start to finish.

Q2) Do I print the Report or do you send it to me?
A) The Report is printed in your office in order to give you complete control. With no risks over postage times you can be sure that whenever you need a Report it will only ever be a few minutes away

Q3) Where do you get your data from?
A) Our data comes from many different sources. Part of the Report is made up from the Hometrack House Price index which is collected from up to 3,500 agents every month who give us their detailed overview of their local market place. We also use data that is provided to us from the Land Registry, High St Lenders & Surveyors and Property Portals.

Q4) Do you provide training?
A) Absolutely! There are tried and tested ways on how to get the very best results from your Reports. Preparing the Report is easy, presenting the Report to a vendor in a professional manner requires training and support from us. Before any of our clients launch the Reports we visit their office/s to train the staff on how to present the Report to the vendors in a confident and professional manner. We want you to get great results so want to make sure that you hit the ground running rather than to learn from your mistakes.

Q5) If I use the Reports what is to stop all of my competitors using them once they see me getting results?
A) As many members of the team at Hometrack have an Estate Agency or property background we appreciate just how difficult staying ahead of the game is. Every product in the market seems to be open for everyone and therefore gets copied if successful. This means that eventually you have increased your costs but still have no differentiator in the market. For this reason we provide these Reports to a maximum of two estate agents per post code district. This means that you can only ever come up against one other agent in your area offering our Reports. Many of our clients have now purchased the second license for their area as they have experienced such good results. This is something for you to decide

Q6) Are the Reports available in my area?
A) In order to tell you that we need you to let us know where your office/s are. Please click on here to contact us and find out about the availability in your area.

Q7) What do your customers say about their experiences with your Reports?
A) Why not see for yourself and read our Testimonials page. Many of our customers have been using our Reports since their launch over 4 years ago. These agents are some of the best in the business and wouldn’t have invested in our Reports for all those years unless it was making a real difference business.

Q8) How much does it cost?
A) For more details on the costs involved please see our costs page. However as a rule, costs start from £120 per month plus VAT. These costs can vary according to the number of branches that you have and the area that you cover.

Q9) Can I use the Reports for other purposes?
A) Of course. You have a license to produce as many Reports as you require provided that they are not resold. Many of our users produce Reports to try and win new developments, probate properties, part exchange valuations and relocations appraisals.

Q10) How do your customers maximise the benefit they get from their Reports?
A) We actively encourage our customers to take advantage of every opportunity to use their Reports. Many agents will promote the Reports on their own website in order to gain more exposure. Examples of this can be seen on these different sites Example 1, Example 2, Example 3 Other agents will actively promote their Reports in the local media in order to educate the public on the market and encourage prospective vendors to choose them for a valuation. We also have some agents who circulate promotional leaflets within their community to make sure that any home owner thinking of selling is aware that they provide an independent Report as part of their property appraisal.
